    New toy, crap weather...

(Finally) Picked up a Zeiss Loxia 21mm f/2.8 today. The weather was super flat grey cloud for pretty much the entire day, so nothing too exiting to post unfortunately - but it's the first time I've had time to pick up the camera in about a fortnight so thought I'd share something anyway.

    For the tech lovers:
Initial impression of the lens is very good. Having a purely mechanical lens that still reports aperture to the camera and triggers focus magnification when the focus ring is turned is a bit weird but a simple joy to use in operation. Optical stuff seems good, insanely sharp (all across the frame), pleasant bokeh, and while there is some vignetting - it doesn't seem too problematic unless the scene exaggerates it anyway. Greatly looking forward to using this one more, but for now:
