    That was a good day out then Doug. They are both lovely shots and the first so suits the B + W conversion.
    I want to stand as close to the edge as I can without going over. Out on the edge you see all the kinds of things you can't see from the center.

    Love the second shot there Doug, absolute corker. :) I love the way these shots meddle with our sense of scale by isolating and simplifying the subject (by no means appearing "plain and simple" though!). The lighting and strong, vibrant colours are just perfect for the subject at hand too.

    I like the first shot, but I would be interested to see a re-shoot with a more dramatic sky. I enjoy it as is, but something makes me long for a little bit more of a textured and contrasty sky - I do like generally dark B&W's as a rule of thumb though - so I may be biased! :lol:

    Thanks folks.
    Yer I tried recovering the sky more in the first one, but the curves and railings lost out in definition.
    A nice gloomy ominous sky might be the go.
