    I figure that a Polariser enhanced the stress marks in the windscreens — they certainly add to the sense of 'eyes'. A nice play.

    What you are seeing is curtains behind the windows. (get some sleep Walter you need it :) )
    It must be a trailer park bus.

    But yes it would take a lot more imagination without them.
