    lens colour and more Bees

    by Eden » Fri Nov 04, 2016 1:17 am

I have been giving the old (1980) canon FD 300 f4 a bit of a workout on the EOS M3 and noticed the slightly faded colour that I associated with old photos is present and also with the FD 200 f2.8 (1979) and wondered if I was running the aperture too far open at f7-f9 or if this slightly washed out colour is typical of the older lenses
anyhow here is the original untouched and the others cropping in a bit ( happy with the glass though :) and very happy with the M3 )

(ps shot through gum leaves so a few soft spots)

I want to stand as close to the edge as I can without going over. Out on the edge you see all the kinds of things you can't see from the center.
