    Currently active topics time

    by VK4CP » Fri Aug 04, 2006 9:26 pm

    FYI
The time stamp in "Currently Active Topics" area is out by -17 hours.

Me thinks the server for this site is located somewhere mid-west USA... where, funnily enough, is 17 hours behind AEST.

    Example:

When the actual topic posted was:

... I'd also recommend enabling the VC confirmation, if you haven't already.
My phpbb board was getting SPAMed heaps until I enabled this.

Ok, the time bit is correct for this site.. the Currently Active Issues topic area drags its time from the server.. and unfortunately, its an american server.. so it'll display an american time zone.. and because I didnt set it up, i cant find the files that were used to set it up and cant see what I can do to fix it..

I have been looking into it tho and Ill try and get onto it

And until such occurs may I suggest we simply mentally add 17 hours to the posted active topic time if it means that much to us?

Sir T and Zeeke are doing their best to address issues as and when they are brought to their attention but they also have to prioritise tasks so please be patient.

It'll happen. Might take more than 30secs but it'll happen.

    :)
    Simon

    Sorry....what was the question again?

PPOK - as long as you tell me what you did to fix my dodgy image!
