    Stuffed

    Image

    A long hot dry day
2 fire callouts a grass fire started by an idiot using an angle grinder in a dry paddock

No photos as were were flat out controlling it and putting out smoldering cow pats

As soon as we finished that job a grain harvester caught fire and started another grass fire

This was the last shot of the day and describes pretty well how we felt.

Great shot Dug. Captures the emotion (or should that be despair?) perfectly.

Thanks for being out okay Dug and brigade.

It's often not a lot of fun.

Reminds me I should join up again.

    Define "Fun"

It is a good feeling to get out and stop a fire in time. A good save makes it worthwhile.

I must admit, I do enjoy the adrenaline hit as well
