    Beautiful image Geoff.
    Captures so well when children get lost in thought.

    Works really well in B/W, lovely soft tones in the face.

    Thanks guys. This is a 'old' image which I have always liked and never processed to B&W before now. I still love the colour version too.

    Its my guess it will get it this week any how.
    but is it a new image according to the rules in regard to submission for next week ?

    a question within itself when you think about my last posting!

    I fall into the trap of thinking I dont like a photo Ive taken and will edit it one day or I like it but would prefer to edit it before showing it.

    then a rellie or a friend looks at it and likes the orrig far more than the one I played with for 20 mins to fix it . go figure !

    =================================================================================

    I seriously like the colour heaps more than the black and white and think it is a beautiful shot mate

    I actually think its on of the best child portraits ive seen in a long time but didnt want to carry on like a pork chop without the ability to explain why, as others are more capable of stating the reasons better than myself due to experience and terminology

    the only thing I can think to explain my thoughts is that the black and white is too smooth and she comes across as older than in the colour.

    as to me the colour brings out the child perspective and the youth and for me the innocence is more striking

    cheers Eden
