    automatic border feature/button?

    by hockysa » Sun May 03, 2009 7:51 pm

    Hey guys,

I don't know the name of what I'm after but i'll do my best to try and explain what it is.

What I want to do is to be able to export all my photos and have either a watermark or a border with a caption on each one that gets exported.

I'm using Adobe Lightroom atm but would be happy to hear about other programs that are able to doit.

From lightroom you can use an export plugin called Mogrify
    http://timothyarmes.com/lrmogrify.php

I haven't used it in a while but it's fine for adding borders and text

I've used Mogrify and it works pretty well. It only ads the border when you export and the controls are pretty easy to navigate. Mogrify is free but you can donate and get the full version...hope this helps

File >> Plugin Manager >> Add

Point to the folder where you saved the extension and Robert is your older relative.

I see from your other post that you had LR 1, that would be why no Plugin Manager. In LR1 you had to manually install plugins, copy the files to the appropriate folder under Document and Settings >> Username >> Application Data >> Adobe >> Lightroom.

Unfortunately I can't remember the folder name but you already have it sorted so no drama.
