    Hope I'm not out of line here...and if I am let me know so I can remove this.

    The detail in your macro work is amazing, and personally I know how hard it is to capture. I just struggle to enjoy many of them due to the harsh lighting and almost over-sharpness...

    I did a quick edit, let me know what you think. I lowered the contrast, added some Saturation, pretty much removed the Highlights, and added some mid-tone, I then added some Soft Focus just to make it a bit more "pleasing" to the eye.
