You didn't waste any time in making a purchase or putting it to use Bernie. I am sure you will enjoy it, hope you got a good deal.

    Great news Bernie,

For RAW your will need the latest ACR or Lightroom 4.3.

    Have fun with it ....

I shoot RAW and JPEG, but to be honest the JPEG's are so good I have only bothered with two separate RAW files so far.

........ only shot a few on the way home........ was hoping for a sunset when I got home and keen to look at the images, read the instruction book and play with the dials......

Not had a chance to shoot RAW as yet...... maybe a sunset tomorrow...... I know the camera does panos, keen to do some hand held so might have to go out for coffee in the morning ........

You have got to like the grid and leveling line......... I am sure I have one short leg

I believe the Capture One software is meant to do a lot better with the Fuji RAW files (but don't have it myself to try). ACR tends to give a noticeable oil-painting effect...

Processed the jpeg files through ACR with all looking good......... will keep a lookout for the oil-painting effect in ACR with the Raw files...... yes, read about Capture One processing the Raw files.....

Don't think Adobe will be too far behind with what is becoming a very popular camera.......

There is a three-dimensional sense to those fishing boats at the mooring. Quite remarkable in its simplicity.

Are there many limitation from what you know in using the converter? Like only FX lenses not DX, manual focus instead of auto? I still have few Nikon primes so maybe is not all lost.

    Thanks

These guys are good camera suppliers...... http://www.cameras.net.au/product_info. ... cts_id=386

Processing of images do play a big part in keeping them clean and looking good...... ACR 7.3 is great in CS 6

Of course the processing is important but I'm looking forward to see what the fuji will do in the same hands.

    Thanks for the links.
