Vote here for the September 2006 Members Competition

by Sir Tristram » Sun Oct 01, 2006 11:57 am

The entries are all in for the September Competition. I'm happy to say that the qualitiy and variety of compositions for the theme "The Eyes have It" were of a very high standard. All entrants can be very pleased with themselves.

Now to pick a winner all you have to do is take the alphabetical number that appears on the bottom corner of the photo you like and vote for that letter. In the next 2 or 3 days you will be able to make your choice for the overall competition winner. Voting will remain open for 14 days from the time voting opens.

Please use the link below to view the entries and

    ***Note***
Photo M was removed from the entries as it fell outside the PP rules.

    John.
I'm not sure why but I can't seem to vote?
All I see is the following at the top of the thread:

My Vote for the August 2006 Comp is:
Vote until: Tue Oct 17, 2006 12:15 pm
The results can be seen if the poll is expired.
    Total Votes : 4

But there seems to be no place for me to enter the letter. Am I missing something or just having a blonde day? :D

I thought you just put a tick in the box next to the poll letters and press submit? Is that not working for either of you??? When I go to the thread I see a stack of the alphabet at the top with radio buttons next to each.

It seems that I have to do an inbrain correlation between the photo number in the gallery and the alphabetically labelled poll. Wouldn't it be easier to use the same label system in the gallery and the poll to prevent inadvertant mistakes?
