    Oldest Camera Competition

    by Tim » Thu Nov 09, 2006 12:29 am

Ok, nothing special.. 1 prize.. you can have it if you want.. or you can just brag...

Prize.. big poster with every Nikon Camera made from 1948 to 2003 which is around 206 cameras... (handy to show your allegiance to Nikon)

Well, here's the tricky bit.. seeing as some of us wont have a camera older then 2003 or later..

Post up a pic of the oldest Nikon Camera you own.. or a relative owns.. .. if someone posts up a camera that has already been posted.. then.. we'll go down to looks.. see who has been so careful with there camera, its never had a scratch on it..

Sorry... Gimmick.. but hey, if you want a free poster, its not going to cost you anything... I'll post it to you in the mail

Entries finish by the 19th of November

Have fun folks, this could bring up some interesting discussions!

Check it out - the one on the left looks like it's the first camera I owned :)

My dad has a couple of mid-60s Nikkormats, I'll see if I can get a shot next time I'm over there.

Thought this lil competition might build up a bit of convo.. and people get to show off there old cameras that they dont get to use anymore (bloody digital!)

Dug, didnt you have one of these? (Dug was kind enough to donate the poster for the competition...)

Ive heard about Bernies collection... this should be interesting

I am sure the Bernie is going to pip me at the post by 20 years or so but I still have my faithfully old FG-20 SNo. 3455814. The MD-14 motor drive is older (I think) but both must be old enough to vote.
