digitalSLR.com Chinese Gardens Meet Feb 28

    by LOZ » Tue Jan 20, 2009 3:35 pm

    Hi All

I'm proposing a photographic get together on the Saturday 28 February at the Chinese Gardens in Darling Harbour ttp://www.darlingharbour.com/sydney-Thi ... Garden.htm. Their is no problems with a group such as us visiting and taking photos for personal use .Tripods are ok as long as we don't block paths and use our judgement for safe use and safe use to others.

The plan would be to have 2 1/2 - 3 hours in the gardens say we start around 2 to 2 30pm to 5pm their closing time .Then wander up to China Town which is 10-15 min walk and from their have a early dinner in China Town

Parking is a little expensive so it may be worth sharing a car this may make it easer for those with out transport .Gardens entry is $6 adults $3 child.

    Hands up those interested

    I'm there.

Hope there's a big building to the west of the gardens. The sun could cause some 'technical difficulties'... above and beyond the ones I usually get anyhoo :D

I'd love to be part of this outing but I live a loooooong way from Sydney.
    I better start planning..........

    I just had a thought.......
The Anti Photography Police (APP) will have their hands full trying to keep us lot in line !!!
After the gardens we should go down to the Opera House to take pics. Now THAT would turn into a fully fledged riot !!!!
We'll make it onto the 6 o'clock news.
    We'll be famous !!!
    Woo hoo !!!! :D

10fps, you do need to think about your priorities.
Why go to Alaska when you can be in Sydney ???
    Sarah Palin is over-rated anyway.
