Hi, just got an email from Steve saying he has deleted his and Shirleys account on the forum.

    Any idea why this happened?

Due to lack of time and if I'm honest interest I haven't been on of late and as such I will be closing the forum in 14 days time. I will be putting up a notice to this effect in that members have 14 days in which to exchange contact details and then I'll switch off the lights.

Its been fun while it lasted and I've met some fabulous people here.

    Regards

    John Carnell

John very sorry about all of this but I was expecting it. Thanks for your work in setting the place up. All the best for the future.

    Kind Regards
    John

I found the other side of the story

DAVE_XTC on chat voiced an opinion that Steve was voting on his pics and as a moderator was influencing the vote and this possibly helped him win COW last time out as in his opinion the Pardalotte was not the strongest contender.

Steve's got wind of this and has lost the plot on people questioning his integrity believing when there is one there is probably many

Id suggest the straw thats broke the camel's back

Something like that would have upset me as well, I have never had any doubts about Steve's integrity.

Darren John has indicated that if we can come up with a reliable team then he has no problems with the forum remaining open. His main concerns revolve around liability should someone be defamed or if porn was to get into the site. We really need to find a solid administrator that we can all trust (someone like Steve), and I also feel that an entirely new team would not be such a bad thing.

I understand that there is a plot to renew the forum but that it will be better that Steve is not involved according to some ( you know who you are)

I'm not going to have anything to do with that if this is true

I realize the forum is more than one person but the amount of behind the scenes character assisination going on is beyond me

sorry guys - I am going to have to stick with Steve on this one

    no Steve - no kiwi
