    new to it all.

    by danielt823 » Fri May 04, 2012 9:19 pm

hey everyone, my name is daniel. i'm pretty much new to photography and Melbourne in general.

Studying business at uni and photography is my tool for procrastinating.

    I'm rocking a 600D with a 50mm 1.8 prime, the 18-55 kit lens and the 55-200 kit lens.
I'm not opposed to the kit lenses as they do a perfectly fine job for the price but obviously everyone wants better glass. I use magic lantern with my 600D for the customisation. beforehand i wasn't really thinking about photography that much.
i bought it all about mid year last year and now that i'm in melbourne i have a lot more opportunity to shoot everything.
I enjoy landscape shots and HD movie recording.

But that's enough rambling for now anyway.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/danieltucker23/ is my photostream and i really like to receive feedback so yeah, give it your best. i haven't uploaded that many because i only want to upload the ones that i really like and the ones that i put some effort in to.

I'm still amazed that Magic Lantern was able to turn my 50D into a video camera. Granted there's no sound but it's still pretty good to get HD from a camera that never shipped with video.

Will build websites for 'L' glass.

    Hi Daniel

Welcome to the crew hope you stay and have fun

As the resident NIKON BIGOT i must now officially make disparaging comments about your choice of camera brands but apart from your being a canon deviant you are welcome and I look forward to being rude to you in the near future.

Rest assured the rest of the people here are a lot lot lot nicer than I am :D

    cheers and welcome !
