    Hello everyone

    by JamesX » Thu Aug 30, 2012 8:15 pm

    Hi folks
Just joined today and I'm looking forward to contributing to this forum. I have a Canon D7 with the 18-135mm kit lens and the 50mm f1.4. I'm currently exploring HDR and what I can do with Elements 10 but I've found that it's a steep learning curve.
I look forward to getting critiqued on the occasional photo I present and I hope to learn more from you seasoned pros.
    Cheers

Congrats on your purchase of the 7D?

Forget HDR, that's a bandwagon a lot have already abused so much, it's all about split toning this week :)

Post some pics, have a look around and feel free to comment.

Have fun, and don't stress too much about all this negativity about HDR, sometimes you just gotta try things out in your photography journey and plus there are stunning images out there which are 'HDR' which when used in the right circumstances just are not achievable otherwise.
just coz its the internet does not mean you can act like a dick :)
