15 year expired Polaroid — NSFW

    by W G » Sun Nov 13, 2011 8:01 pm

Shooting a lass last week, we got chatting about the joys and marvels of Polaroids. I scratched through a drawer and found an old 4x5 Polaroid Pack holder that still had two sheets left in. What better thing to do with a genius model than to experiment?

I gave two stops more exposure and developed for 6 minutes just to be sure. (You can't overcook the developing of Polaroid because it works to finality anyway.)

Blemishes, flaws, colour shift and a pleasant surprise.

Walt, I love the feeling of the first, the way you have posed this is bold yet almost reserved, clashes so well for me. I am not sure this is what you intended but it is how it works for me.

There is nothing that matches the look of old polaroids

    Freaking expensive but so beautiful

    Thanks lads,

    Very kind of you.

    Craig,

You got the message loud and clear, a sort of bold timidity infuses a lot of my nude work. (Not that it is me that gets nude, you understand.)

    Cheers,
