    Regular Competitions

    by Dalzine » Tue Jul 05, 2011 6:03 pm

This thread is for regular photographic competitions on a weekly or monthly basis. If you know of such a comp then pop it into this thread.

Photo Continental has a monthly Photography competition on their website. At the moment they are giving away a LowePro bag.

Canon Australia has a couple of regular competitions, the Hero Chains comp where you can win a DSLR (550D with IS lens) (Hey Dug, you can finally get started on that switch to Canon :D)

There is also their 1Wall comp where the winner gets an print of their image. It's a bimonthly comp.

If you know of any other regualr comps feel free to add them to this thread, or if it's a big annual comp then create a new thread for it.

A couple more comps for you to look at.

    Australian Photography Website.

They have a monthly comp going on, this month the theme is "Portrait", prize is a Lowepro Photo Sport 200 AW bag.

This site is a compliment to their monthly magazine, Digital Photography + Design. The magazine also has two monthly competitions. The first is a theme comp, the current one being a "Sport" theme. Deadline is August 15 2011, prize is a Canon 600D single IS lens kit.

Their other comp is "Digital Doctor". Send in a photo and they show you how to improve the shot. If your image is the pic of the month you win an Epson Stylus Photo R1900 which is an A3 printer.
