    Simple question

    What Budget restrictions

I mean for three grand in Cairns you can get helicopter to the reef, then to Daintree and back to your swag all in a day!

    Should be good photo ops!

Do they like to move move move, or to spend time to know a spot?

I could suggest cairns and Daintree etc, but I will not know for another week what it is like (and I am not taking any helicopter rides boo hoo)
A week of reef and forest

From their likes, and for difference to Europe suggest a trip out to the Warrumbungles then loop out west, lightning ridge, dubbo? Back to Sydney
    An out back week.

    Blue Mountians
    Tassie - Craddle Mountian

Adelaide and Wilpena pound? (too much with above)

Melbourne, well you could give that a miss (Aaagghh I am going to get shot)
    Philip Island with penguins

    WA
    Perth
    from Geralton to Albany

When is the trip planned for ?

Summer is cyclone time up here and screamingly hot and steamy.

Winter in the south would not be that different from Europe !

I would look at spending some time based in or near Cairns if at all possible for rainforest and reef trips.

I would try to get to Uluru and the red center and then probably some time in Sydney or Melbourne to see a city if possible.

I prefer to spend time in a couple of areas having a good look than spending all the time rushing from place to place glimpsing lots of little bits of stuff.

Depending on a lot, but Central aus rocks.

Road kill is a good thing on the way out to Camerons corner, makes finding wedge tail eagles much easier.
