Sydney - Sunrise Mini Meet - Bungan Head - Northern Beaches

    by RayJ » Fri Oct 21, 2011 6:38 pm

Late notice but if anyone wants to join me in greeting the sun tomorrow morning (Sat 22) just turn up by 5.30am.

Cloud is forecast and the tide will be low at 9.25 am so there should be enough water on the rock shelf to provide some water movement

Here is the location on the Northern Beaches. - Cnr Bungan Head Road and Myola Roads.

    http://www.whereis.com/nsw/newport/bung ... ssion=MTY=

Note the dotted path that takes you down to the beach. Park on the road near the path.

To make the most of this location you will get your feet wet...so come prepared. Note that the path down to the beach is very steep (coming back especially) so you might like to minimise the amount of gear you bring. It is a concrete driveway so no bush bashing involved

    Here's one I prepared earlier

Can't come but just wanted to say that photo is gorgeous. I miss the beaches in the eastern states.

Glad to hear my prioritising work over play wasn't a total disaster.
