    by Rick104 » Sun Mar 09, 2008 12:10 pm

    Hi Guys
My name is Rick, and this is my first post, the only people i know in this forum are John B, meet him at The Creek last year, and RayJ, i have known him from many moons ago. Hope to get to know you all real soon.
I shoot with Pentax cams, with a mixture of FA and sigma lenses..
Here is a series of pics taken at the creek, NSW Road Race R1
All these Pics were taken with a K10D and a EX Bigma, its the first time i have used this lens, i have been using a 100-300mm EX during the last year since i started taking Bike pics.

    Welcome Rick

Its about time you posted something!. :)
Trouble with this selection is that you have set the bar far too high..Good stuff.
Did you happen to see Sir T out there?

BTW only 4 pics per post is the limit !

Back to the pics... I love them, only 1 there with part of the rear tyre missing. I could be biased but :D

It's sooooo good to see another Pentax user here. I got my K10D about 6 weeks ago. Keep posting pics Ric.

    Hi Kriisy,
nice to meet another Pentaxian!! as they say in other forums, thanks for the nice comments, i hope you are enjoying that very, nice to handle Cam..
That Pic you are talkingabout, yes the whole wheel would have been nice, i was set at 420mm, i have a very bad habit of shooting to tight , some times..
Well looks like we will be flying the flag for Pentax in this forum. lol

    Talk to you soon

Nice pics, but, dunno something strange with them, perhaps over sharpened ? the edges of the letters on the stckers etc seem jagged ?

the jaggies could also be our resizer that teaches posted images that are over 800 on the longest side some respect.

remember no more than 800 pixels on the longest side

Great work on the track side pics :D

    Awsome first post.

Kiwi, sometimes the photo hosting site can do the jagged lines to a pic.

Oh yeah, my apologies, when I click on the photo and it resizes them back up the jaggedy edges are no more.

What a nasty resizer that it, sure hurts them avcomp
